That’s surprising.
My flight was also on 22 but extended bcz embassy said we can’t travel.
But it’s good that u take a risk n travelled.
Is Qatar airways also ask for COVID PCR test.-
Yep, need a negative covid pcr test from one of the qatar verified labs.

As the embassy was saying that u can’t travel now. How did u travelled?

Yeah i dont know why the embassy is saying that when emgs and malaysia immigration has made it clear that existing students can travel. I traveled via Qatar Airways. At check in (pakistan), the people there even contacted malaysian immigration to confirm whether i should be allowed through, and they were given the green light.

Uh EMGS said that the entry permit is valid for 30 days after it’s issued date, so you might wanna check on that

Hi. May i ask how can you update your flight details after you have alrdy made the application for the travel authorization form? Because my application is at 50% and that means i have to change my flight date.

Even the airline are also saying that we haven’t received any written notification yet.

I think it will be fine ,,even I had got it on beginning of September . Better Confirm with the consulate in your country .

Please note that the entry permit has a 30 day validity. Therefore, you required to enter Malaysia within the validity of your entry permit. You may refer to the Malaysian Mission for further information.

Because of Haj . I contacted then and they told me they will close on August 27 and open on September 11, at the end of Haj vacation. If you have any information regarding this please till because I am in jeddah too.

How about obtaining SEV from Malaysian embassy in Indonesia. Maybe we enter Malaysia with nirmal visa (like tourists), finish registration at University then go to Indonesia after holiday and obtain sev from the embassy there. Not sure if the embassy in Indonesia would accept issuing us sev though.

So I just got an email from the embassy in Riyadh, they will work until 30 august then resume on 5 September after holiday. So you cN go to Riyadh if jeddah consulate closes before you get VAL

The best thing to do is calling the Malaysian embassy in ksa and ask them exactly to avoid any delay.. usually they ask for a copy of val, passport picture , offer letter, a certain amount of money (less than sr 100), and a form that you have to fill .. usually takes around 3 days .. all the best
