The system say the application is in a process to be sent to immigration but I won’t be needing the VAL for this year now because the university cancelled the course due to virus problem. Hello, I had applied for VAl, but due to current situation my university has cancelled the course. So I won’t be coming to MAlaysia this year and hence I want to cancel my application. The VAL is valid for 6 months. Kindly note that only institutions can submit application cancellation requests. As such, you are advised to refer to your institution for further details.

Hi Mohd Gul,
The VAL is valid for 6 months. If you are deferring your studies to next year, you are advised to liaise with your institution and request that they cancel your VAL once it has been issued by the Immigration Department. The approval to issue the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
