The system say the application is in a process to be sent to immigration but I won’t be needing the VAL for this year now because the university cancelled the course due to virus problem. The VAl is valid for only three months and but my courses will be next year. So please cancel my application or please increase the validity period for VAL so that I can use it next year. This Is due to current situation which is not in anyone control. Hope you will help

  The VAL is valid for 6 months. If you are deferring your studies to next year, you are advised to liaise with your institution and request that they cancel your VAL once it has been issued by the Immigration Department. The approval to issue the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
