My visa is valid till March 2022 but I applied for renewal (at 50% atm), do I need to apply for travel authorization if I want to travel in Jan?

  No need for travel authorisation if you travel before the expiry date.
  
  If the renewal progress status indicates that emgs has issued the supporting letter and that it or the university is waiting for you to submit your passport, you can travel to Malaysia

  Hi,
  
  Please be informed existing International Students with a valid student pass are exempted from applying for a Travel Authorization via EMGS to enter Malaysia. However, the students must ensure that their student pass is valid at the point of entry into Malaysia

Hello, the official document states that quarantine cost is 150 per day for 14 days (2100RM total) but universities say we need to pay 4700 RM for quarantine. Please clarify.
