Eval valid for 6 months
Evisa for 3 months
Can go anytime, but better one or two weeks before studies starting date to finish medical test and student pass process, also to settle down in the accomodation

Why not u apply for evisa online ? U dont have to go to embassy

I didn’t do it, I just uploaded the documents without interviews

After you take an appointment through email or call , you take All papers or documents that the embassy needs and give it to them.then they will tell you when you can come and collect your passport

if you want to apply for SEV, you can do it through eVISA, then you need to upload your passport, eVAL and EMGS approval letter through the application http://malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my

if you apply through eVISA you don’t need to come to Embessy and they won’t take your passport, your passport will be taken by your institution when you apply for a multiple entry visa

You have to follow up with the institution and ask them to assist you to send the missing documents afterall that’s their job, to help you duirng the VAL process. So just comtact them frequently. I also had a problem like this and I called the institution almost everyday until It got resolved.

Mine took 30 days (35% on Jan 3rd, 70% on Feb 3rd). It was all green

30 working days you mean?

Do not count on whatever they mentioned. A student from China took 5 days, another one took a month and half, mine was 22days.

Hello there dear brother . The problem with EVAL that it solely immigration determination . and literally nobody knows when they finalize it so be petient plz. they say 7-14 day but it takes more or less than what they officially announced.
So be patient
