Medical process should not be affected that much. Whereas other factor might be affected depending on when your school start their classes. (You missed orientation as well)

Registration for only PhD never gets affected throughout the year. Disadvantage may be only missing of some initial advice from thesis supervisor. Nothing else but documents required should be complete.

The uni classes will usually not start next first day ( Registration, Enrollment for classes etc) so don’t worry too much about it. I will recommend that you contact your school and see if they have any assistance/advise for you. You can also check if there’s an international student office in the uni which can advise you about the process.

They also rejected my picture because background was not pure white. My university made an amandment request for the photo.

Send me a mail to #########

Go to any photographer and take a new one and ask him to give you the soft copy of it with the same sizes required and ask him to email it to you
Also you can do that by yourself by right clicking to the pic, choose to edit it on paint program and then resize it as asked

Which university? I have paid the extra fees still then canceled my application saying there is a shortfall. But I have paid some extra dollars so that there would be no shortfall.

It is normal. The VAL takes from 2-4 weeks to be approved. Just be patient
