How many days it takes to get the VAL after appealing? I got rejected 1st time with no reason. Then my university appealed. My papers are submitted to the immigration.

You have to download the e-val from emgs website. You might get it within 1 to 4 days. Then you have to apply for single entry visa in Malaysian embassy at your home country.

Immigration wants 18 months validity….I have submitted my passport with 16 months validity still immigration didnt accept my passport and told me to renew the passport

My institution UKM submitted the renewed passport copy to emgs today. Emgs submitted the copy to immigration today. I got a notification few minutes ago that immigration rejected my VAL. What is the reason? I have submitted all required documents

Just go to your university and tell them to issue a letter through registrar/director of your program that you will get the official one after convocation and before getting the original one the probisional certificate will act as same.
