Can I get a visa to stay in Malaysia for a month while waiting for my certificates to be released by the university

Hi EMGs

Im a foundation student at Lincoln University College , i would like to ask is it lawful for a University to drag giving certificate upon completion of program especially since the visa given is strictly 12 months , meaning every document should have been handed to me by then .

Im sincerely looking for help with this issue
