Hello EMGS officer, i have already asked my university this question. But I just want more confirmation just in case.
My question: I have already submit my documents for my Visa renewal that is expiring on 22nd March. Am I able to travel from end of December to early January?

Hi Atikah,
If your institution hasn’t submitted the renewal application then you can travel as planned. However, you are required to return before the expiry of the Student Pass. Kindly note that the renewal process follows the stipulated processing time-frame. We can only expedite the process if it has exceeded the time-frame.

Hello,
I have a visa situation. My recent student visa has been issued on August 2019. Which I have paid in FULL. But it has come to my attention that my visa is ending on 22nd March 2020. Which does not make sense; to pay for a full year but only given 6 months.

I have already submitted all the documents, and they said to wait until my EMGS is 50% then I can submit my passport to them.
So i am not so sure anymore, but I will ask them again tomorrow.

In my case,it took 22days including public holiday and weekends.It will take 14 working days to become 90.
Hi Atikah,
The Student Pass endorsement process takes approximately 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.
