You are required to apply for travel approval. Since you have a new passport, you need to upload a copy of the new passport with your travel authorization application.

Upon receipt of the travel approval, you need to apply for the social single entry visa (SEV) from the Malaysian Missions Office in your home country.

you need to first renew your passport, and then your visa. you cannot enter malaysia with an expired visa

If you renewed your passport, ask your institute for help on renewing the visa and stuff.

Just renew your passport but make sure you still have the old passport and if you student pass (visa) is not expired then you transfer it to the new passport but if you student pass is expired please renew it first after you got the new passport then apply ta and write your new passport on the new travel document form then wait for approval then…[Read more]

Since your student pass expired, you are required to apply for a travel authorization in order to be allowed entry into Malaysia. Kindly note that if you are from a visa required country, you also need to obtain a single entry visa (Social SEV) after receiving the travel approval letter.

Nope you can’t able to get student visa for 2 years . It’s just a talks u will be hearing but the actual fact immigration don’t give student visa

Please note that students would only be able to renew their student pass for a maximum of 12 months. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

You should apply for travel authorization first through EMGS and then wait for the approval.

I went to my institute and they told me that my passport is not ready… From 3 January it is 100% .. Anyway in a few days it will be ready.. Thanx
