Hi officer,
I graduated from USM on February, then I applied the postgraduate in USM. My last student visa expired around 28/2. For having enough time to apply my new postgraduate student visa, my institution office applied a special pass for me, and the special pass will expire on 28/3. but then the MCO was coming, the process was stoped. As i read in some article the immigration mention there will be exemptions for those that their visa expires during the MCO

Yes you have to pay RM100 for special pass…

Yes I know I need to pay for special pass. I mean, for you, these days between 8th April and 15th April, do you need to pay other money like penalty?

Hello im having exactly same situation with you. My visa is expring during the MCO which is 8th april. So the officer in my institution told me they will apply special pass for me immediately the MCO is lifted 15th april

But I am confused that do we need to pay a penalty for these days without a visa? I heard from my friends that if we don’t have visa for these days we need to pay penalties.-

If the visa expires during the MCO, you are required to liaise directly with your institution for further assistance.

The institution officer answered me that he will apply a new special pass for me on 1st April. But there are 3 days between 28th March and 1st April. Will I be fined?
