Hi. I submitted my passport to university on 6th December 2022 to renew my visa. But due to a medical emergency I need to travel back to home country to do a surgery. Please be informed that the process will normally take approximately 14 working days. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Please be informed that the processing of a VAL application takes 14 working days from the date we receive the complete application documents and payment from the institution. Don’t come to Malaysia until you get your val. After you get your val now you’re student you can enter you val.

I wish i could sir but i am still in home travelling on February 2023
They will not speed up unless they receive a letter from university, this is what happened with me
