Dear EMGS support team,
I am a Myanmar citizen,
currently holding a student visa but i need to return back to my homecountry to renew my passport. Upon entry to malaysia, if i can enter with visa free do i still need to apply for social pass and show both my passports. View

Hi Szu Mn,
Kindly refer to the Malaysian embassy in your country pertaining to this, as they are in the best position to advise about it. Additionally, when entering Malaysia, you should present both your old and new passports to the immigration officer.
