Hi Risha
Thank you for your kind response. So both of my parents are eligible for dependent visa. For social pass how long my parents-in-law can stay.-
It depends on nationality. Maximum for social pass is 3 months. Long term social pass can be issued for one year.

Dependents as defined by emgs are parents, the spouse and children only. There should be other options for your parents-in-law to come to Malaysia, perhaps such as long-term social pass?? (This is usually accessible by foreigners working in Malaysia, but not sure if it applies to students)

Hi Sanjida,
Parents-in-law are not eligible for the Dependent Pass.
Have a nice day.

Hi Sanjida
You would be able to exit the country provided that you have a valid pass. However, we highly recommend you to refer to your institution to seek their advise on this matter. Furthermore, we also recommend you to refer to the procedures for your entry into Malaysia.
Have a nice day.
