I’m in Malaysia now, student pass. I want to ask, the school said that i have to submit my visa 3 months before expired, that’s mean if my visa expired in September i have to submit my visa in June. And if the date issue for my new visa is also in june, then my visa will be extended until june 2024. But my study finish in August 2024. What should…[Read more]

Kindly confirm if you are currently in Malaysia or outside the country. Please clarify if the visa you are referring to is the student pass endorsed in your passport or the visa approval letter (VAL).

Hi Samantha,
You may submit your documents for the renewal application at least 3 months from the expiry of the existing pass. Kindly take note that the students must ensure they have renewed their student pass before leaving Malaysia.

Your institution opted to obtain the Student Pass directly at the state Immigration Department. As such, your passport will not be submitted to EMGS. Be informed that, we are in the midst of processing your application and there is no stipulated time frame to complete the application process.
