If University submitted your passport to immigration for visa stamping. It will take 2 to 3 weeks. In one week on EMGS progress will be 100% (EMGS issue approval) and 1 to 2 week for stamping

There is a special counter for students at KL airport. Just bring a print of all your documents e.g offer letter, Passport, EVal, single entry visa. You will get clearance from the counter very quickly and comfortably.

You need to contact your university for renewal of visa. Otherwise, you may enter on visit visa, but you will face problem at airport, if you don’t have a return ticket.

No insurance required after 1st May. Just fill the pre departure form on emgs and traveller form on my sejahetra app. And you are good to go when your status is verified.
