Hi, My student pass expires in Oct, I hv completed my program, but still waiting for my transcript & cert. My question is, can I get a visa extension for a month before my visa expires? Thanks.

Hi, I’m currently in my last sem of my degree program at Raffles College – as an international student. I’m planning to take a diploma program after I finished my degree next sem, but I heard that EMGS will not renew student visa for degree graduates who want to take a lower level course like diploma, is this correct? Thanks

Yes, you heard it right. You can not go for a lower level of degree if you’ve already persuaded any Malaysian degree that’s equivalent or higher than the degree you will be applying for.But if you meed any help regarding admission you can contact me

Hi,

In the event, that you like to apply for a diploma programme, you are required to exit Malaysia and apply as a new application. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

My friend submitted his application for travel authorisation two days after my application

Now his application 40% and mine still 10% , why ???

Note : both applications are green

Hello EMGS, my visa renewal progress has been stuck at 20% for couple of weeks now, due to pending documents. But my University has submitted the required documents and its not reflected in the current progress. Pls help. Thank you.

Hello, I’m currently on a student pass studying a diploma program. Planning to continue with a degree program at the same school in July when I finish my diploma. My IELTS is from Oct 2017, do I need to do a new IELTS test to apply for a degree student pass? Thanks.

We recommend that you check with your institution if you are required to take a new IELTS test prior to the submission of your undergraduate degree application.

My visa is gonna expire on 18 june and traveling back to my country now so from june to August i have intrenship so i will not be around so what to do now

Applicants who exit Malaysia are required to return before the expiry of the Student Passes. Kindly refer your institution for further details if you are unable to return before the pass expiry.

Dear @tinashem, my application shows two different statuses: It’s 35% (In progress w immigration) on the web-app while it’s 32% (In progress w EMGS) in the mobile app, which one is accurate?

By the way i follow up my application every day and there are no updates and if there are any updates its takes much time, the same status for some others its did not take a long time, why?
