You may use the previous offer letter to apply for a new eVAL application as you commenced your course back in 2022, however, the institute is required to provide us with an explanation letter and other supporting documents along the process pertaining to this matter. Hello, I was admitted as PhD student in 2022 at UM and I got eVAL at that time
But I didn’t enter Malaysia that time and my eVAL expired. Now I wish to apply again for my eVAL and enter to Malaysia. I have already requested my institution to cancel my previous eval, and they are proceeding with that. Hopefully, I can now apply for a new eval.…[Read more]-

Hi Polin,
Kindly note that international students are required to enter Malaysia within the validity of the VAL. Once the VAL expires, you will be required to reapply as there is no extension for the validity of the VAL.

Thanks. My eVAL will be 6 months on 17th May. I have no plan to enter Malaysia by this time. In case of reapply, should I indicate me as a new student in the form? I am currently doing 2nd semester. Is the cost of reapply for eVAL same as before?

The total process this stage takes from 23/10/2022 to 21/11/2022 where the status 35% to 70% takes from 11/11/2022 to 21/11/2022. Thanks

Apply for eVisa if you are from a country that requires eVisa & Visa sticker is obtained after you have arrived in Malaysia do the medical and submit your passport for it

Make sure your card has International Transaction enabled & turn off any browser extension like adblock, pop-up blocker etc… Also try from using Different Browser Chrome, FireFox, MS Edge, Brave, Opera etc. If still not working maybe try debit card

If u got your offer letter from uni, the ask you intl office to apply for your Eval , once eval is received , apply for Sev from high commision/ embassy of Malysia in your country – if you have e visa in your country then apply SEv online through official drop box agents – hope that answer ur question

thank you. I got to know, by using eVal it is possible to enter Malaysia. At the airport in Malaysia, SEV will be endorsed without facing Embassy at the moment in my country.
