I would like to ask that my friend is a Japanese citizen having Passport number TS5104366 and she successfuly got eVal as well as Travel Notice. May I ask that Travel notice is same as SEV? Please note that 32% indicates that the documents are ready to be submitted to the Immigration Department. At present, the Immigration Department is not issuing any VAL for students who are out of Malaysia as entry for new students is on hold. Hi Muneer,
Please note that referring to your friend’s application, she is required to obtain the SEV prior to her entry into Malaysia. Kindly refer to https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/sev-required-countries.html to list of countries that requires SEV.
