As per my knowledge, if you renew your passport for any reason, you can also request your institution to convert your student pass on mew passport.

Hi Mei,
If your passport has been damaged, you are required to replace the passport. Once the passport has been replaced, liaise with your institute to apply for the student pass transfer endorsement to the new passport.

Kindly be informed that we are yet to receive the appeal document from the institution. As such, kindly refer to the institution and request them to submit at EMGS in order for us to review and resume the process.

With regard of any unintentionally transferred fee to the EMGS account, it is advisable to liaise with the institution for further assistance, as they will apply for the refund in our system on your behalf.
