If your visa or pass expires while you are in Malaysia and while the renewal is in progress, your university should apply for a special pass to avoid you being in a visa overstay situation.

At 35, emgs is checking on the completion of the application and that it is up to its standards.

For the accommodation, my college put the college Penang medical college as the accommodation, is that supposed to be right ?

In my case I gave them the address of a hotel even before booking there.

If it is at 35% and yellow, you are required to submit your accommodation address.
If it’s green basically you have to wait until your visa is at 70% to get your eVAL and TA, then you can travel to Malaysia if you don’t need a SEV.

No the other 30% is for your student pass getting attached into your passport, and this happens after traveling to Malaysia and submitting your passport to your institution to get your multiple entry visa sticker.

For me it was two weeks. My university sends the passport directly to the state immigration department in Penang. If your university chooses to send it to emgs then to the immigration department then you need to add another week.

Upto 7 working days

A couple of days, usually 7 but if you have an emergency, please feel free to indicate that to your university and ask for help.
