Now EMGS sends your passport to Immigration for the student pass sticker (assuming you’ve done all the medical check). Next, you just have to go ahead with your life/classes etc and wait for Immigration. You’ll get a notification when it’s ready for collection

Congratulations! It means that you have to come to Malaysia now. Download the eVAL and book your ticket etc.. Once you are here you will have to send a photocopy of your passport showing the entry stamp (Date of entry showing that you have not overstayed the duration you received when you arrived). Makes sense?

I’m already in Malaysia and submitted my passport for student pass yesterday … now?

something like same.. but sev for student is only for student pass… with visit visa you cannot apply for multiple visa for student pass

There is a grace period of 60 days to renew your student pass after expiry. You will have to enter into Malaysia with a visitor pass and then apply for renewal but must have documents to justify your delay.
U should renew your student pass before leaving Malaysia for holiday/student break. If your pass expiring while you are not in malaysia maybe uni will force cancel your student pass and u wil have to apply VAL again.
