Hi Deep, none but only your college / university will know the exact reason of your VAL rejection reason. You should contact your college / university to get it know and send them the required document/s. Your university will appeal on behalf of you and I hope you will get your VAL. Regards.

GradI. Brother my rejection reason was not submitting all passport pages. Immigration found a social pass in against the passport but not the stamps. My university uploaded an old scanned copy. Later an appeal was made with latest entry and exit stamp

Usama are you sure about the rates? I paid around 4000 for eVisa. Though I applied in China and paid 250 Rmb

Only your Institute can appeal. You can just submit the required documents to your institute.

I was lucky in this regard, When I got notification of rejection then I called EMGS they told me I didn’t submit the complete passport (reason). The same time I emailed my passport to my institute and next day it reached 45% after the appeal.
No there is no way to directly contact with Immigration, I had already tried this.

The story others are telling is about that 55%.
Mine took around 10 working days from 45 to 70%. After rejection.

Now you need to wait atleast 10 working day. Some people are waiting from month after rejection. I was rejected too but got approved after appeal in 8 working days.

Call EMGS or contact your Institution they know the reason of rejection then you need to provide the requried document then your process will resume as normal.
