Hi. Kindly be advised that students may renew their student visa as long as the student re-enter Malaysia before the current student pass expires. You may liaise with your institution for further clarification. Thank you. Have a good day.

Hi Karima Hussein,
Happy new year to you. Kindly be advised that the issuance of a student pass for any course will take approximately 14 working days. This is inclusive of the timeframe required to endorse the student pass sticker on the passport.

Hi Karima,
The passports for USM students will be submitted to the state Immigration Department in Penang, and not to EMGS. As such, you are required to check with the university directly for details on the time-frame required to endorse the Student Pass.

Look at your visa and look at the allotted time given. So you can fly within that period

Your VAL is valid for 6 months.

You can apply it in online just upload your VAL and Passport images

Kindly download the E-VAL and bring it along with you to Malaysian Embassy in your country. Kindly liaise with Embassy directly on the additional documents required for your visa issuance. Good luck.
