Anyone going to UTM Johor Bahru for September intake? Could I receive further information regarding these enquiries please.
1) Do we have to go to Malaysia throught Kuala Lumpur airport knowing that there is an airport in Johor?
2) Do we need to notify the University before our arrival (knowing that we don’t need the pickup service)?
3) It is…[Read more]-
Have you getting your VAL?
-
Yes, I received it
-
Please how do you process your VAL?
-
My VAL get to 40% and they said it was rejected. What can l do?
-
Unfortunately, I don’t have information about what to do in your case. You should try to contact your institution and ask for their help, enquire from EMGS as well for their reason for rejecting your VAL. Good luck and all the best
-
insist from your university to help you

UTM Johor Bahru. Any news?
-
-
Please do you send medical report along with your application to EMGS?
-
I didn’t attend the pre medical check (since UTM is a public University)
-
So what could have been the reason of rejecting my VAL application
-
Try to contact UTM for assistance, and enquire from EMGS for the reason of rejecting your val. All the best
-
-
-
If the university u applied for is public then you do not need to submit pre medical check-up
-
-
-
email or call ur university and ask for an appeal

You can enter to Malaysia using any airport.
Think no need, but it’s better to contact ISC.
It’s better to be one to two day before the reception day because the SEV for one month only.-
Hi, am also going to UTM JB, I did contact the visa unit of the university to advise me on the appropriate fly in date and they said 29th is fine. My reception date is scheduled for 4th, Sep. I will also be landing in KL then spend a day there for the Eid Prayer and will board another flight to JB.
You can contact the visa section and advice of…[Read more]

Depends on the university , usually registration and reception day are one week before classes start

Thank you very much. I applied for UTM johor bahru and the reception day is 3rd of September, I didn’t understand if I will register on the same day
-
Registration will be on 5/6 sept. On registration day on 3 sept you’ll have a tour of the campus and complete your medical check
-
I meant reception on 3 sept.

Me tooo 🙁 mine is still at 0%!!!!!
Im hoping that by next week it would start the process 🙁-
When did you apply? Is it green or yellow? How did you pay?
-
From 15% to 25% in just one day then it stopped over the weekend then increased again by 5% each day untill it reached 35% after that it went to 60% in three working days. So 8 days in total. Payment online makes the process faster.
-
It’s green, just called the emgs and they said that they finished reviewing, but how come mine still 15% TT TT btw i started applying for VAL from 28July
-
Don’t worry, by Monday it’ll probably update.

Not 80, it’s 70%, by tomorrow it will be 70. And then they will pick up the val and send it to u so expect having it tomorrow, if not then Monday, then u will go.to the embassy and apply for SEV. in Qatar it takes 3 days process for the SEV .. Idk about Saudi but pretty much the same. So if u got it Monday then SEV might come out Thursday after t…[Read more]

You should print the VAL and show it to the embassy.
-
U should have the hard copy of val which university has mailed you…
-
Not necessary… just a printed copy would be fine
-
-
With val what to take to embassy?
-
What do u mean??
-
-
Hai giselle, kamu kuliah dimanaa?
-
Print in color if they ask for original one, but usually they just ask for two hardcopies
-
So it’s okay to not bring the courriered VAL? so in embassy, I’ll just print the emailed VAL in color?
-
-
Taylor’s University
-
Yes, just print it.

It depends on whether you’re from a country tbat needs a SEV (single entry visa) or not. Check the list online you can see if you need it or not.
-
Im from indonesia and i just checked the list and it doesn’t state that i need SEV.
-
What list plz send the link
-
Here’s the link
http://www.imi.gov.my/index.php/en/main-services/visa/visa-requirement-by-countryAlso, It’s better if you make sure with the malaysian embassy at your country 🙂
-
-
If that’s the case then you can just enter malaysia with just your val 🙂
-
-
-
Harus apply single entry visa giselle soalnya aku juga apply, karena guna single entry yg kita bkin itu bukan buat holiday but buat student visa
-
Be informed that Indonesians entering Malaysia as studes DO Require to obtain SEV before entering, so check with the Malaysian embassy and make proper arrangements. (the list above is for satying durations less than a month)

I think it takes around one month
-
But i have less than 2 weeks before school start
-
-
It differs from person to person. There are some people who got their Val after 2 weeks and there are some who got it after a month or 2.
-
From 15% to 35% in a week. From 35% to 60% then 70% in another week usually. How long did it take you to reach 15%? (mine went from 15% to 35% in four working days – from 2nd aug to 7th Aug- then it just got approved today (60%) which is another 3 working days).so don’t worry

It depends, cuz when it’s 35% then EMGS submit the docuumnts to the immigration department, for example mine was increasing fast before 35% but then stopped at 35% for likr 2 days and it didn’t change. I’m just waiting till it increase lol. But I heard within one week after 35% the VAL will be out.
-
When did u apply?
-
My file was created on the 27th of July, and it reached 35% on 4th August and it stopped from 4th till now at 35%
-
Mine was created at 2nd
Did u contact the university?-
No, it increased today to 60%. Which means visa is approved they will send the VAL to the uni and the uni will send me the VAL to go the embassy and get SEV.
-
Thats is great. Please do update me on how long it takes for u to get your val and sev cuz we kind of come from the same region. 😊
-
-
-
-
-
-
Which university?
-
Limkokwing
-
Inti inti
-
My file also was created as 27 July and now I have reach 25%. !!! Any ideas what is 25%
In the website doesn’t say what is 25%
Guys all of us our semester’s start at 25 September in limkokwing, do you think it’s possible for us to get the student pass before the semester starts
-
What do u mean by student pass? Is it the one u do In Malaysia or what?
-
In my understanding the student pass is pass to get in Malaysia and then within 7 day from arriving you have to do the medical test again and then you get your student visa.
I’m not sure about the process, I hope so it’s like this
-
-
How come your intake starts on September ?
Which course are u doing?-
I’m doing MBA in general management
-
Oh okay
