Dear EMGS,
I recently received my Visa Approval Letter (VAL) for Taylor’s University. However, due to financial issues, I am now planning to start my PhD at UPM instead.

I would like to ask if it is possible to transfer the VAL to UPM, or if I need to apply for a new one?

  Regarding your inquiry about transferring your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) from Taylor’s University to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), please be informed that transferring a VAL is not possible. You will need to apply for a new VAL specifically for UPM.
  
  Kindly liaise with Taylor’s University to proceed with the cancellation of your current eVAL before submitting a new application through UPM.
