Anyone going to UTM Johor Bahru for September intake? Could I receive further information regarding these enquiries please.
1) Do we have to go to Malaysia throught Kuala Lumpur airport knowing that there is an airport in Johor?
2) Do we need to notify the University before our arrival (knowing that we don’t need the pickup service)?
3) It is…[Read more]-

-
My VAL get to 40% and they said it was rejected. What can l do?

Unfortunately, I don’t have information about what to do in your case. You should try to contact your institution and ask for their help, enquire from EMGS as well for their reason for rejecting your VAL. Good luck and all the best

UTM Johor Bahru. Any news?
-
-
Please do you send medical report along with your application to EMGS?
-
I didn’t attend the pre medical check (since UTM is a public University)
-
So what could have been the reason of rejecting my VAL application
-
Try to contact UTM for assistance, and enquire from EMGS for the reason of rejecting your val. All the best
-
-
-
If the university u applied for is public then you do not need to submit pre medical check-up
-
-
-
email or call ur university and ask for an appeal

You can enter to Malaysia using any airport.
Think no need, but it’s better to contact ISC.
It’s better to be one to two day before the reception day because the SEV for one month only.-
Hi, am also going to UTM JB, I did contact the visa unit of the university to advise me on the appropriate fly in date and they said 29th is fine. My reception date is scheduled for 4th, Sep. I will also be landing in KL then spend a day there for the Eid Prayer and will board another flight to JB.

My application percentage is 80 percent yellow collor, and the Application Status: Pending additional document(s) from the institution. Emgs are requesting the submission of the following documents : 1) a copy of Date of Entry and Valid Pass, 2) a Personal Bond, 3) a copy of Medical Screening Confirmation Form. HI Guys.
I have already got my VAL And my studying start on October!
So can I travel to Malaysia in September for example ?
The question is the VAL valid or not ? Because they said it’s valid for six months ? So that’s mean I can go to Malaysia During this 6 months ? Isn’t ?
And what should I do right now ? If I want to go to Malaysia in…[Read more] -

After u receive ur VAL u can go to the Malaysian embassy in ur country they will stamp ur passport with the SEV
-
I’m from Iraq, and we do not have Malaysian embassy in my country!
In this case what should I do ??-
So when u applied for the VAL which embassy did u choose? Ist malaysian embassy in Jordan? If yes can u go there?
-
Actually I just got my VAL from my university, and they wrote is no need to go to the nearest embassy so that I can go directly to Malaysia with VAL only!
Thanks a lot bro!
Next destination is Malaysia wuhuu 😎😎-
Yes u can travel to Malaysia but at the kl airport show them the VAL and ur offer letter they will give u visa on arrival for students
-

Same is my case، and How much percentage do you have?
-
80% but in yellow color, says pending additional documents from the institution required to proceed with my application.

SEV is “Single Entry Visa”. Basically, after your VAL is issued you can come to Malaysia…BUT if you are from a country that needs Visa to come to Malaysia, then you need to take your VAL to Malaysian Embassy and apply for SEV.
I hope that’s clear-
I’m from Iraq! We don’t have Malaysian embassy in here! In this case what should I do and how can I apply for it? How long it takes ???
-
I’ll recommend that you check with EMGS for the official answer but from what I know there are 2 scenarios.
1. Either you go to a Malaysian Embassy in a nearby country; or2. You come to Malaysia with VAL only (there is exception for some countries).
Please email EMGS and confirm which one is true for Iraq.
I hope this helps
-
Ohh! Thanks a lot dude!
I hope Iraq is the one from countries can go with VAL only.Warm regards bro,
Btw, where are you from ? And where are you now ??

I have an enquiry for anyone who is going to UTM and took the Toefl ibt. My question is:
The offer letter stated that I must present the Original Certificate of Toefl ibt, during registration. May I ask if presenting the Original Certificate of Toefl ibt means that I have to request the ETS to mail the score report direcly to UTM?
Knowing that…[Read more] -

Hello. I am going to study at UTM. I’ve recently applied for the Val and my application percentage is 5 percent, the remark written is: pending the submission of documents by your institution. Are these documents the same ones I applied with for UTM since I’ve already sent the documents by dhl to UTM (when I applied), so does this mean that I don…[Read more]

Yup you have time for calling visa VAL but don’t book your flight ticket until your application percentage be 80%
-
Why ?? Where ar yu from?
-
Because you will find a ticket, but a bit expensive
-
I also plan for this, and the university will receive me on September 5th
-
So, it’s possible to book the flight ticket just before the flight. Thank you for the reply. I will contact the travel agency as well.

I have enrolled in the UTM Foundation Program, it’s very effective and I was greatful to enroll in the Foundation program
-
Great to know that and thank you for the reply. In my case, the offer letter I received from UTM stated that I am required to enroll in the foundation program, I want to know if the courses taught in the foundation program are the same for all the students or the courses differ according to the field of study that the student is going to join…[Read more]

Hello
I am going to UTM Johor Bahru this September for Chemical Engineering for bachelor’s but they did not say anything to me about enrolling into foundation program.-
I applied for bachelor of Physics, and the offer letter stated that I am required to attend the foundation program, I emailed UTM via their email that was mentioned in the offer letter and they told me that I have to attend the faculty foundation program, but when I contacted the Faculty of Science (Physics) I was informed that there is no…[Read more]

Well basically I’m an engineering student, so our foundation was Mathmatics, Physics and Chemistry as an engineer student you will definitely need to focus in those three subjects the foundation helped me not only academically but my international friend who did not attend the foundation got a GPA of 2.9 he said if I took the foundation I would…[Read more]

I am from Dhaka (I can’t write the name of country since Emgs isn’t allowing me to I don’t know why) and I hope you confusions get resolved.

Thank you so much. I wanted to ensure that UTM offers Foundation programs.

Your very welcome

-
This is my last question please. In my case, as an international student, am I going to attend the foundation program normally as stated in the offer letter?
-
Yes you will have to do the Foundation program as stated in the offer letter, then you will be enrolled in to your Bachelors degree given that you meet the minimum GPA requirements. And the reason why the Faculty of Science said that they did not have foundation is because you will have to do the foundation at a school in UTM, so that is like a…[Read more]

When did you receive your val? When did utm exactly send to you and after hiw many days of being approved?
So 4 days after approved, you mean 60% or 70%
Usually if you have TOEFL or IELTS you don’t need to do the English test during registration. Just show them your TOEFL/IELTS results
