I had a similar case with my progress falling from 90 to 45. What you need to do is to contact your university. Are you renewing your visa inside Malaysia?
Just in case your applying inside Malaysia, if you are overstaying your visa, go to the visa department at your university. You may need to pay RM110 (or probably more) to get a special pass.
