If you have been to Malaysia before, you don’t need NDLEA clearance letter. It’s only those that haven’t been to Malaysia before that needs it
-
No, it applies to both new and old applicants going for Diploma, degree programs. For everyone, not new applicants only.
-
Don’t play yourself
-
Well I guess to be on a safe side I will just get it … working on it already.. plus the eligibility thing form federal minstry of education, is the same thing as no objection certificate.
-
The eligibility letter is easy, same with the clearance certificate. Simple but tough requirements and long processing time
-
-
-
-
I think there is confusion here cos VFS which is the agency that is handling it for the Malaysia embassy said NDLEA is compulsory for Diploma and Certificate programmes alone, they didnt include those hoing for degree. Check their website for more info.
-
I checked their website, the documents required didn’t even mention the clearance certificate. But I did wrote the embassy last month, they said the certificate is compulsory for certificate, diploma and degree, excluding masters. Still confused, tried calling vfs global but can’t seem to connect

Got your ndlea clearance certificate already?
-
Yes I have it
-
Nice. How long it took? Eligibility letter also?
-
Eligibility letter takes just one week. And you can only get it from ministry of education Abuja
-
Got eligibility already, just want to know how long your clearance certificate took regarding processing
-
NDLEA clearance letter takes three months to be out. A piece of advice for you, during the course of your application, make sure all the information you are giving is the truth, do not tell lies because they will come and verify everything to be sure you are not lying. Another thing, get good people as your guarantors, if not, you may be rejected.…[Read more]

Having the same issue. Do you have the SEV already? I think it’s better to get your SEV, defer your intake and wait for the coming one. Gotten your ndlea Clearance Certificate already?
-
For master, NDLEA is not applicable

contact with IIUM tell them that you got the val and need more time to get SEV so ask them to delay your registration
-
Same with me , got val but waiting for sev and 14 september is last day of registration,
But dont worry you will be able for your registration after 14september -
Hello
May I know what SEV is because I’m waiting for my VAL also but they told me that the last registration date is September 14th so I don’t know what to do.
Is it possible to register after that date because they told me that I would be with the next intake which is in February.
Knowing that my application for the val is at 35%-
If we can go for the February intake that will be better
-
-
Just contact your school beforehand, they are aware of all these delays due to the large volume of applications received by immigration. Everything will go smooth as long as you can secure the SEV from your home country.

You have to call your uni visa department, send the required documents to them with your passport number via email address that will be given to you on the call… Good luck
-
Pls do u have the email address? Cos nobody is picking up my calls. Its frustrating.
-
-
For iium you can submit your documents yourself, why are you doing it through them ? Just contact emgs yourself with the documents
-
Thanks

Am also in the same situation. ….dunno what to do now
-
Me too. 🙁 I’m having a crisis right now. My parents just want me to cancel my slot for my program. Don’t know what to do anymore. 🙁
-
-
Try to contact your uni .. you can regester for this semester and issue the visa, but you will start next semester.
-
Noneed to cancel if u want to study and want to go Malaysia.if ur program starting 4th September u can re _registration ur application u can change ur intake
-
-
I say don’t give up just yet, my application was approved on 7/8 and my VAL was accepted on the 15th. You might end up having a very quick process, so wait for a couple more days and try sending emails to EMGS to hurry things up.
-
Whats the email for EMGS?
-
enquiry @ emgs . com . my
(Without the spaces)
-
-
-
You’ll be then placed for the next semester which is not more than 2months later of your original course starting date so don’t take drastic desicions and cancel just give it a thought… I’ve been placed for the next semester too so its all okay if you take it positively 😊
-
Am even thinking of deferment right now
