The processing of a VAL application takes 14 working days from the date we receive the complete application documents, and payment. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

They say 7 to 10 business days, but my wife’s VAL has not yet been issued after 2 business weeks. However, I got mine within 2 working days.
