@ernest_2 For applicants who are in Malaysia, we are waiting for confirmation from the Immigration Department with regard to the issuance of the VALs. Once we receive the confirmation, we will proceed to submit your application for the VAL issuance.

May I know how long this confirmation will take, because the status of my application at 32% had remained the same since on the 22nd June 2020. This gives me serious concern and your swift action will be appreciated in this matter. (A50442366, Nigerian). Thanks for your support thus far.

@ernest_2 We are unable to advise when we will receive the confirmation, as the decision is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Hi Ernest,
The percentage indicates that your application is ready to be submitted to the Immigration Department for their approval. However, at present, the Immigration Department is not issuing VALs to international students outside Malaysia. Hi, thanks for your reply. I am currently in Malaysia and the application I submitted is for progression because I have finished my MSc and now progressing to PhD with thesame institution.
