Yes .. an agent from your university has to come and pick you up otherwise they will leave you in the immegration office for ever!!

When did you receive your val? When did utm exactly send to you and after hiw many days of being approved?

So 4 days after approved, you mean 60% or 70%

Usually if you have TOEFL or IELTS you don’t need to do the English test during registration. Just show them your TOEFL/IELTS results

Hi , Unfortunately you can’t apply for your SEV from Thomas Cook .
You can only apply through OSC , Please check thier website for the requirements.

You or you can send someone on behalf with a letter with your signature on the letter ,Stating that this person is granted permission to apply on your behalf etc . Basically a Authorization letter is reauired , Only if you are sending someone on behalf .

Unfortunately, I don’t have information about what to do in your case. You should try to contact your institution and ask for their help, enquire from EMGS as well for their reason for rejecting your VAL. Good luck and all the best

Depends on the university , usually registration and reception day are one week before classes start

Thank you very much. I applied for UTM johor bahru and the reception day is 3rd of September, I didn’t understand if I will register on the same day

Registration will be on 5/6 sept. On registration day on 3 sept you’ll have a tour of the campus and complete your medical check

Did you go to Malaysia? Date of entry is the date you arrived at Malaysia and valid pass is what you get stamped on your passport. Al these are submitted after you arrive in Malaysia. Good luck and congrats

When you get your VDR or Student Visa (both are the same), then you will have to obtain SEV(single entry visa) if only you’re listed from the countries that are required to obtain SEV

Don’t worry, you will soon get your VAL approved by immigration, mine takes only four working days from 35-70

My VAL is at the same situation as well. It is stuck at 35% for the last 4 days. As far as I am informed, it takes some time around 12 days to progress from 35%
