Good morning i wanted to find out if my visa cancellation can be done before the 4th of August, due to the covid-19 and lack of availability of flights, i was only able to confirm my flight today. If i am not able to cancel my visa, will i be still able to enter the country on a tourist visa?

Hey everyone,
I am currently in my home currently doing internship. I am only able to come back into Malaysia on the 27 th March. My visa expires on the 17 th of April. My application status is pending submission of passport. Are there any penalties i can face for handing my passport on the 28 th of march.
