Hi.
It is not recommended for you to enter Malaysia using a tourist pass after your eVAL has been approved by Immigration. Kindly plan your journey wisely to avoid any complications during your student pass process.

Kindly be informed that you may use the eVAL and eVISA to enter Malaysia if it still has validity. It is advisable to enter Malaysia when both documents are still valid.
