Hi everyone, just got my eval today.
Going to Sunway College for MUFY and I’m from Zambia. Just thought to post my timeline here for a reference 🙂Submitted to EMGS: 30-12-22
15% – 9/1/23
15% (Yellow) – 12/1/23 (additional documents)

How many days did it takes to got 35% from 15%???I am still stucking at 15 for 20 days.

Please be informed that there is no exact time for the VAL approval process. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Hello there brother.
As international pupil u have to email international student department. Or inside postgraduated section there is definitely department for intarnational student.
Contact them.
If no then i think you have hire education office in Malaysia to finalise your papers.-

Unless u have someone on your behalf who can go for you.
In my case i used to bother them day and night until they replaird to me. Man once i emailed the whoool department including the deen. Referring to everyone that i am lost i dont know who should i contact to. Wallahi the person who is in charge rmailed me himself😎-
Thanks for everything, brother. The issue has been settled. The processing is being continued according to EMGS. Unfortunately, school has resumed but I am still in my home country. How long would it take for the processing to be completed? Any idea?

It’s normal, usually it will take 7-10 days since the day your application was submitted to the EMGS. Once they start vetting your documents the percentage will raise up to 15%. Hello to all . My application was rejected once and I completed the missing documents and filed an appeal. It has been sent to the Immigration Department since January 3 and the progress rate is 50%. In your opinion, given that the percentage is 50% and the appeal request may be reviewed faster, how long does it take to issue a val in this situation?

If the application status is pending approval from the institute, you are advised to reach out to them and request that they approve the application.

They should not take more than 4 days to approve, you must contact them

Hi Mosiul,
The processing of VAL applications takes approximately 14 working days, provided there are no additional documents required. Kindly note that the approval to issue the VAL is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department.

Wow! Congratulations. But everyone said 21-24 was Malaysian national holidays. And eval won’t work. Wow! Mine 35% was in 11/01/23. Its still 35%. How eval working today!
Congratulations.. Your process was pretty smooth. I also go to Sunway College in JB for VU. Unfortunately, my status has been 35% since Dec 22, 22.
