Hi Cyra Almarza,
Once the student pass is issued, EMGS will return the passport to the institute. Technically, the institute must return the passport to the students. Therefore, kindly liaise with the institution regarding this matter.

After I talked with the university for 2nd time they still make excuses not give me back my passport. They mention that I can only get my passport if I have already booked a flight going back home is this a valid reason for them to hold my passport EMGS officer? Thank you for your response
