I honestly don’t know how much more an international student is expected to endure.
My father recently had open-heart surgery and suffered a major stroke. My father-in-law also suffered a stroke. Yet I have been unable to travel to Bangladesh for almost 4 months because of ongoing visa delays.
First, my own visa was delayed. That delay affected my wife’s dependent visa. Now we are paying daily overstay charges while the process continues to be delayed.
After finally going to Menara TA One, there are still further delays in accepting our documents. I am now being asked to redo my Maybank documents for the FOURTH time — while the overstay charges continue increasing.
We have followed every instruction given to us.
How is this acceptable?
This is not just paperwork anymore. There are real families, emergencies, financial costs, and people’s lives behind every application.
I urgently ask EMGS and the responsible parties to review this case and provide a proper resolution.
