Do anyone make the Special pass by institution?
In many situations, The SEGi University does nothing with the students pass renewal or same things….I have no way to go….
My renewal application already done at 90% by EMGS, now only need one step then got the student visa, but the segi said the passport under special pass in immigration, yaaaa the…[Read more]-

Your institution opted to obtain the Student Pass directly at the state Immigration Department. As such, your passport was not submitted to EMGS. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on the status of your passport.

We understand your concern. However, we are in the midst of processing the application. Please allow the EMGS officers time to process your application. The Student Pass approval is at the sole discretion of the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

After communicating with the university, they submitted payment proof to EMGS finally…and the progress has been changed to 20%.
May I know how long does it take to stay at this progress?If I don’t return to my hometown this month..I may lose my job…

im so sorry to leave a message here and i am a student studying at Segi University. This year is the third year of my Ph.D. I came to Malaysia to renew my visa last month.
I prepared all the materials and submitted them to the school last month, but I found that the visa progress was only updated to “0%” yesterday.

As per checking, we received the renewal application from the Institution on 02nd May 2023. However, the application is pending for the submission of the payment. We advise you to liaise with your institution to submit the proof of payment in order for us to process your application.
