Dear emgs staff. My passport number is EG9432262, I would like to know why my visa expired one month earlier than my issue day? My visa expires on November 8th and the issue day is December 15th. I don’t think I even submitted my passport last November 8th. Why did I lose a month on what was supposed to be a one-year student visa? Thanks for your reading. View

      Hi,

      Please be informed that we have issued the supporting letter to the institution for the renewal of your student pass at the state Immigration. Therefore, kindly allow the Immigration Department to approve your student pass. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on the status of your passport.

      Hi,

      Your institution opted to obtain the student pass directly from the state immigration department. As such, your passport was not submitted to EMGS. We advise that you liaise with your institution directly for further assistance on the status of your passport and about the overstay charges.
