Hi, my name is Oga. I have applied for student visa but was wondering if I could travel to Malaysia on a tourist visa to tour the campus before entrering Malaysia the next time as a student.

  Hi Oga,
  It is best to remain outside of Malaysia while the student visa is in process. This is to avoid any issues with the Immigration department. You may enter when your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is approved by Immigration.

      Hi Oga,
      It is not recommended to travel as a tourist when your VAL is approved by Immigration. This is to avoid any issues with the Immigration system.
