I am writing on behalf of my brother regarding his VAL application.
His course commencement date is 24 September, and the application is currently with Immigration.
Could you please clarify:
1. The notification shows the application was submitted to Immigration on 11 September, and then another “submitted to Immigration” update appears on 17 September, just 3 minutes after the EMGS update. Was this a resubmission, and should we count the 7–10 working days from 11 September or 17 September?
2. Since the commencement date is 24 September, could this delay affect his application or require a late-arrival appeal from the university
3. Approximately when can we expect the VAL approval?
