Dear EMGS,

My name is Emaan and I’m currently enrolled in my first semester at UPM as an MEd student. I wanted to inquire about requesting a refund for the additional one year paid for my Student Visa, and I paid for two years and received a one year visa. However, my refund request has been rejected as my request exceeded the time allowed to request a refund. Since this time limitation was not mentioned on the refund form, I missed out on it. Is there any way to pledge my case, as the amount lost is significant for a student? My name is Emaan and passport no: AJ1201633

  Kindly be informed that the refund must be submitted within 90 days from the time the application is no longer being processed in the EMGS system. Kindly note no refund request will be accepted after 90 days. Therefore, you may refer to the refund policy https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/legal for further understanding.
