I am writing to seek your official guidance regarding opening a new visa application with a different university in Malaysia.
My previous visa application (Application Ref: ) was rejected on 6th March 2026. I am now preparing to apply to to continue my studies.
Could you please clarify the following for me:
Cooling-off / Waiting Period: Is there a mandatory 6-month waiting period from my previous rejection date (6th March) before a new application can be submitted, or can my new institution submit an application right away?
Application Procedure: What is the recommended step-by-step process to open a new application under my new university? Should my previous application file be formally closed or cleared prior to starting the new process?

  Kindly be informed your previous application has been closed. As such, the institution may proceed to apply for a new application in the EMGS system. Kindly liaise with the institution for further checking on this matter.

    I received an official update from EMGS stating that my previous application has been closed and that the institution can now proceed with submitting a new application in the EMGS system.
    Could you kindly provide an update on the next steps for my application? Specifically:
    Has the institution initiated the new EMGS application on my behalf?
    Are there any updated or extra documents required from my end (e.g., revised offer letter, updated passport scans, or additional forms) to complete this submission?
