Dear Sir/Madam,

I am an international student at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). My Student Pass is valid until 7 August, and I am planning to return to Malaysia on 1 August, before its expiry date.

I would like to inquire whether I am allowed to travel with a one-way flight ticket only, or if I am required to book a two -way flight ticket (departure and return) in order to enter Malaysia.

I would be grateful for your advice regarding the correct travel requirement in my situation.

  If you are traveling to Malaysia to begin or continue your studies with a valid Student Pass, you may purchase a one-way flight ticket. It is not necessary to book a return flight ticket in this situation. However, kindly liaise with your airline to confirm this matter.
