I am currently an active international student in Malaysia and hold a valid student pass. I have completed my first year at my current university, and I have recently received an offer from another university in Malaysia. I plan to transfer to the new university.
I would like to ask a few questions regarding the EMGS process:
1. Can the EMGS application be initiated while I am still in Malaysia, before I leave the country?
2. Do I need to leave Malaysia before starting the EMGS application for my new university?
3. Is it possible to complete the EMGS process and transfer my student pass while remaining in Malaysia?
4. If I must leave Malaysia, at which stage of the EMGS process should I do so?
