Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to ask about my situation. I did not cancel my previous student visa before leaving Malaysia, and my visa has now expired. I have already left Malaysia and would like to apply to a new university with a new student visa.

Could you please advise me on what I should do? Will Immigration reject my new student visa application because I did not cancel my previous visa?

  Hi,
  
  Kindly be informed you are required to make proper cancellation before exit from Malaysia. As per check, you student pass has expired on 7th May 2026. There is no cancellation can be made if student pass expired. Therefore, you may proceed to reapply new application, however the approval is solely at the discretion of Immigration.
