Dear Sir,
I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the handling of certificate issuance by the University of Cyberjaya.
My classmates and I completed our studies during the March intake this year, and the Senate meeting has already been completed. We were given to understand that our academic requirements have been fulfilled. Unfortunately, despite numerous follow-ups and email communications, the university continues to withhold our certificates without providing any clear reason or timeline.
I have already received an offer letter from another university and had sufficient time to proceed with a new admission. However, due to the delay in receiving my certificate, I am unable to continue my higher education as planned. I have shared my offer letter and explained my situation to the university several times, but no effective action has been taken.
As an international student, this has been a very disappointing experience. The delay has not only affected my educational opportunities but has also caused complications with my EMGS status. I am now returning to my home country without being able to proceed with my future academic plans.
I respectfully request your office to investigate this matter and take appropriate action. International students invest significant time, money, and hope in pursuing their education abroad. Delays, lack of communication, and administrative inefficiencies can create serious financial, emotional, and immigration-related difficulties for students.
My intention is not to create conflict but to seek a fair resolution and to ensure that future international students do not face similar hardships. I kindly request that the relevant authorities review the university’s processes and take necessary steps to improve student support and certificate issuance procedures.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your assistance and a positive resolution.
Yours sincerely,
Sumaya Alam
