Dear EMGS officials.

My name is Wang Yake and my passport number is EC3694536.
I have seen a notice mentioning that “If Ikad is still with EMGS, the renewal process will not be initiated, even if it has been submitted for weeks.” My last year’s Ikad was not available till this year when the visa was about to expire. Will the renewal process still start this year in my case? Or do I have to get last year’s Ikad for this year’s renewal process to go through?

  Kindly be informed that as per checking, your iKAD is ready for collection at EMGS. Kindly note that, once iKAD is collected, the application status will complete and the institution may proceed to apply for renewal application accordingly. As such, kindly refer to the institution for further assistance regarding this matter.
