Hello EMGS officer,
It has been 7 working days since my Student Visa Application submitted to Malaysian’s Immigration Department, may I ask you for an update? Or is there a way to follow up to them? I’m quite anxious since it’s only a step away from the new smester at the university I am applying for.

  Hi, Hisyam Ikhtiar.
  Your application for Visa Approval Letter (VAL) has been submitted to the Immigration Department of Malaysia for approval purposes since 20 February 2024. The issuance of your VAL is entirely at the discretion of the Immigration Department and it will take approximately 7 – 10 working days from 20/02/2024 for the application to progress to the next stage. Kindly note that the process may be delayed if the Immigration Department requires additional document(s) or any clarification.
