Dear EMGS officials,
My passport number is BT8679696 and I have handed in to your through my institution on last week Friday and currently my process is at 85%. The problem is my special pass which makes it possible to study in Malaysia only valid until 36th of October, so if I don’t have my passport back till then and have a Student pass, I Will not have a valid document to stay in the country. Please handle my case As soon As possible to avoid this issue, because I really don’t know what to do if I overstay based on this term.
I hope the issue can be solved in Time As I am counting on your contribution.

  Hi Boroka Racz,
  
  Based on our records, your passport was submitted to the Immigration Department for student pass endorsement on 25th October 2023. You are not required to apply for a special pass if the valid pass expires during the passport with the Immigration Department.
  
  Once submitted, the visa issuance process takes a period of approximately 14 working days from the date passport received at EMGS One Stop Centre. However, the approval is solely at the discretion of the Immigration Department as they reserve the right to make the final assessment of the application.
